Thoughts on getting a tattoo and my plans

Personally a tattoo is a huge decision in ones life. I decided, long ago, that I wanted to get a tattoo. My ideal design is in question however I know I want to get a full back tattoo with half sleeves (dreams of being yakuza). I've compiled a thought process that I will be working on to accomplish my ideal tattoo for what I can afford and for what will look ascetically pleasing.

I want to get a tattoo that truly illustrates those who have had a major impact in my life and those who inspired me to be greater than I am. I also want to incorporate those who I consider to just make my life happier. Here are my current plans for carrying this out:
  1. compile a list of individuals
  2. decide what makes them qualified for the list
  3. plot out typeface
  4. decide on design
  5. find parlor and talk about pricing
  6. schedule tattoo times

Google Chrome Troubles (Mac)

Google Chrome version (type about:version into the address bar): Operating System:Error Message:Extensions installed:

Please describe your question/comment in detail (for example, steps to reproduce the problem):

Mac OSX vers 10.6.8 Chromium 14.0.835.186 beta (how much longer will it be in beta?) extensions installed: at bottom of screen.

  1. new tab>google search in address bar> infinite loop. If I search for something after opening a new tab it gets stuck in the counter clockwise rotation circle in the new tab and doesn't work until I select the address bar again and press enter. This is troublesome.
  2. Submissions to reddit work in firefox but are ignored if submitted through chromium. This one is baffling. I submit to reddit and it is "ghosted" meaning you can't see it in the new submissions, however if I submit through firefox it works. If I submit through chrome with no extensions it works 64% of the time. (believed to be an issue with reddit)
  3. pages say they are loading indefinitely however take up no bandwidth and do not allow other pages to load properly until the circle is done spinning.
  4. Auto login is never allowed if I quit the program. I have to re-sign in to every website if I cmd+q out of chromium. This is especially annoying.
  5. .Gif's on pages can crash the tab and any subsequent tabs open. The image will show "oops we lost the page" as if flash had crashed however on a page that has only an animated .gif I believe this is improbable. Also, any page can crash the tabs, wikipedia.com even crashed it once. This happens with any multitude of open tabs however it's more likely with many open.
  6. I know there is a reason for Chrome helpers in the activity window however does chrome flash/youtube helper have to take up 20% of my cpu all the time even if the page hasn't loaded correctly? Sometimes it's taking up 15% without any tabs open.

That's all I can remember for now however this happens with extensions disabled or enabled.

Mummy Dream

Last night I had a dream: The dream consisted of a woman who didn't want me and friends who wanted me to go and escape from the pain of being rejected. We went to this secluded bayou hotel/resort and each cabin was on a wooden plank dock of sorts surrounded by the swamp. Dividing two sides of the docks was a fast running river. My companions consisted of an old man, a young and quirky woman and a dead man who later mummifies and still wants to find his long lost love. Eventually I befriend a little girl and we all learn that the woman who rejected me is rooming across the river between our docks. I go to visit and she sees me. I act cool and talk to her etc etc. At this point I'm still want her to just be happy but we find out she's with a rich asshole and then we devise a plan to win her back. The first step is have the little girl run over and tell them that we are going to blow up the log couch outside of their cabin. We hear it and we all think the little girl is hilarious and awesome. then, I go to swim across the river but it's too fast and I struggle. I reach the other side and then I wake up.

I went back to sleep and had a dream that I was strumming my cello and the dead man was singing a song that was to the tune of Man on the run but it seemed more like his rendition. Right before I put the cello down he goes off in his mummy rags to find his love. The rich guy thinks the mummy is the guy trying to go after his girl and puts explosives into the mummy. Then he makes the mummy crash his car and the mummy is still alive, he exclaims "nothing can stop me!" and then the man detonates the explosives. The mummy gets up and he detonates even more. It was sad. Then I wake up.

Oh, you cold beginning.

Since my previous outlets have been lost (due to my ignorance), I will use this as my venting station.

To start off I've been working a lot and I feel like I don't have any personal time anymore. Thoughts on my mind:

  • When will I get a break
  • When will I get my benefits
  • How to I manage my time and teach myself better techniques for time management
  • How do I organize my life so that I am being as efficient as possible?
All of these issues will be solved soon, I hope. I'll probably keep this up to date and make this my sea of tranquility.
